On June 2nd 2006 we arrived in New York for the Golden Anniversary Reunion of the Manhattan College Class of 1956. Eighty four "Jaspers" from all over the USA returned to campus for the reunion; we probably traveled the furthest. Friday night there was an Anniversary Dinner Cruise around New York harbor, on the :"Atlantis." On Saturday the Class of '56, including three widows in attendance, were presented their jubilarian medals at the Golden Anniversary Luncheon. Saturday evening our medals were blessed during the Eucharist celebration. This was followed by the Reunion celebration Dinner and dancing. I was proud to be a member of the class and had a great time visiting with fellow classmates most of whom I had not seen in 50 years. Our class gift to the College was the largest in the College history, over $482,000. The following pictures should give you a feel for this celebration
